Day 1. Sydney - Coffs Harbour. Depart Sydney and travel the scenic coastline of New South Wales, stopping at the coastal town of Port Macquarie. Continue to Coffs Harbour. Tonight enjoy a welcome drink with your Tour Director and fellow travelling companions.
Day 2. Byron Bay - Gold Coast. his morning journey to the Cape Byron Lighthouse and enjoy the superb views from Australia's most easterly point. Stop in exclusive Byron Bay for lunch (own expense), before following the lush Tweed River Valley to the famous Gold Coast. Tonight is free to dine at one of the many restaurants and cafés. Day 3. Gold Coast - Fraser Island. Travel along the Gold Coast to Brisbane for an orientation tour of the city and learn about opals. Continue on to Hervey Bay for the ferry crossing to remarkable Fraser Island. (2 nights) BD
Day 4. Fraser Island. Today join your 4WD vehicle for a half-day tour of the island. Marvel at the majestic rainforest at Central Station. Visit Lake McKenzie, one of the island's beautiful freshwater lakes, surrounded by white sandy beaches. There is also time to relax and enjoy the Resort's facilities. B
Day 5. Rockhampton. Return to the mainland this morning and stop at Langmorn Station, a fully operational cattle station. Enjoy afternoon tea at the homestead, a restored Queenslander built in 1873. Continue across the Tropic of Capricorn to Rockhampton, situated on the Fitzroy River. Dine out this evening at the Koorana Crocodile Farm. Home to around 3000 crocodiles, your guide will take you on a spotlight tour where a visit to the pens will reveal crocodiles as small as 5 ounces and as large as 1,650 pounds! You can even hold a small crocodile. Rockhampton Plaza. BD
Day 6. Brampton Island. Travel north to the marina at Mackay, Australia's super capital, where you will going a catamaran for your cruise to Brampton Island, a large and beautiful National Park Island located at the southern end of the Whitsunday Passage. Tonight enjoy dinner at the Bluewater Restaurant. Palm Rooms (2 nights) BD
Day 7. Brampton Island. Enjoy a day at leisure to explore tropical Brampton Island. You have the opportunity to take an interpretive nature walk around the island. There are sailboarding and catamaran classes. Play beach volleyball, tennis, croquet, golf or you could go snorkeling. Perhaps just laze by the fresh or saltwater pools. B
Day 8. Townsville Head north to the tropical city of Townsville. Enjoy a guided tour of Billabong Sanctuary. This afternoon is free to relax or perhaps take a stroll along The Strand. Jupiters Townsville Hotel & Casino BD
Day 9. Atherton Tablelands. Journey north from Townsville, then climb the high tropical plateau known as the Atherton Tablelands. Visit Millaa Millaa Falls and the famous Curtain Fig Tree. Enjoy a guided cruise on Lake Barrine, before making our way to Port Douglas. (2 nights) BD
Day 10. Port Douglas. A full free day in Port Douglas awaits you today. There is an opportunity to explore the World Heritage Rainforest, enjoy a walk along Four Mile Beach, or just sit back and relax by the pool. B
Day 11. Great Barrier Reef. Join the Great Adventures catamaran and cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy a reef education presentation and view the spectacular corals and tropical fish from the Underwater Observatory and the semi-submersible craft. There is the opportunity to go snorkelling and view this natural living wonder up close (equipment provided). Day 12. Kuranda. Board the Kuranda train for an historic journey taking you through the scenic countryside behind Cairns. Arrive at the cultural rainforest village of Kuranda with time to wander through the various stalls of the colourful Kuranda Markets. Later, board the Skyrail Cableway that takes you above the canopy of the tropical rainforest of the Barron Gorge National Park. Visit the famous Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park where the legends of the Dreamtime are brought to life. BD
Day 13. Depart Cairns. Your tour concludes today after breakfast. You will be transferred to Cairns Airport for your onward flight. B

Day 7. Ayers Rock to the Olgas. This morning, you may wish to join an early tour to view the sunrise over Uluru. Enjoy a guided walk into Mutitjulu Waterhole and stop at the informative Cultural Centre. This afternoon, visit Kata-Tjuta and walk into Walpa Gorge. Enjoy a sunset with a glass of sparkling wine, followed by a delicious barbecue dinner under the stars. BD

Day 9. Alice Springs. Leaving Watarrka National Park, travel to Alice Springs. See the Royal Flying Doctor Service, School of the Air and the Telegraph Station. Stop for panoramic views of Alice Springs from Anzac Hill. Alice Springs Resort (2 nights) BD
Day 10. Exploring Alice Springs. This morning, spend time with a local Aboriginal guide on a Desert Discovery Tour. In the afternoon, travel to Standley Chasm, Simpsons Cup, and visit the Alice Springs Desert Park to see unique Australian animals. B
Day 11. Alice Springs to Tennant Creek. (11 Day Sydney to Alice Springs passengers depart Alice Springs after breakfast - transfer included). Travelling north, arrive at the Devils Marbles with time to walk around these precariously balanced boulders. Day 12. Mataranka Thermal Springs to Katherine. Travel across vast outback stations. Visit the historic Daly Waters Hotel, before continuing into 'Never Never' country. Day 13. Katherine Gorge to Kakadu. Join an early morning cruise through Katherine Gorge. Visit the Nitmiluk Visitor Centre and then continue deep into Kakadu National Park. Join an afternoon cruise on the famous Yellow Water Billabong. Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn BD
Day 14. Kakadu National Park to Darwin. Travel to Ubirr an climb to the top of this rocky outcrop for rewarding views. We stop at Bowali Visitor Centre. Day 15. Litchfield National Park. Today, we travel to Litchfield National Park to see beautiful Florence Falls and the mysterious Magnetic Termite Mounds. Dine out this evening at Darwin's newest attraction, Crocosaurus Cove. Get up close and personal with a 'swim with the crocs' and watch the jumping croc display. BD
Day 16. Depart Darwin. Your tour concludes this morning after breakfast. You will be transferred to Darwin Airport to connect with your onward flight. B

Day 5. Great Ocean Road. Today we experience incredible coastal scenery along the famous Great Ocean Road including the amazing Twelve Apostles, London Bridge and Loch Ard Gorge formations in Port Campbell National Park. Day 6. Tower Hill- Mt. Gambier.This morning we visit Worn Gundidi at Tower Hill State Game Reserve.
The area was a rich food source for the Koroitgundidj people whose descendants retain links with this country. Our guide will provide us with an Aboriginal perspective about flora, wildlife, volcanic formations, bush existence and medicinal practices. Then marvel at the pristine vistas before we continue through picturesque Port Fairy, along the coast and over the border to South Australia. We skirt the Lower Glenelg National Park into Mt. Gambier for a city tour and stop to look at the spectacular and mysterious Blue Lake.

Day 7. Adelaide. We travel through Meningie, located on the shores of Lake Albert, en route to Adelaide, where we'll take a city tour. The afternoon is yours to explore the gorgeous 'City of Churches'.
